Nonthaburi: Ms. Kaimook Choengjarumat, Assistant Manager of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), attended the TOYOTA FARM EXPO 2025, an agricultural and innovation expo under the theme “Free Man’s Farm, Automated Farming, No People, But Not Without Results.” This event gathered government and private agencies in the farming business supply chain to exchange knowledge and create business opportunities for SME entrepreneurs.
According to Thai News Agency, the BAAC participated in the expo by setting up a booth to showcase its significant roles in supporting the Thai agricultural sector. The BAAC’s initiatives included developing and upgrading agricultural products to GLAM agriculture, promoting connections, and expanding business opportunities for agricultural entrepreneurs and BAAC customers through business matching activities. Additionally, the BAAC offered loans to develop farmers and agricultural SME entrepreneurs, promoted financial innovation projects for modern agriculture, and provided marketing support for community products. The bank also offered financial and investment consulting to help Thai farmers keep pace with the digital agricultural world.
The expo featured innovations and modern technologies such as Smart Farming, Robotics, Drones, and IoT. Attendees could explore the Future Food and Processed Agricultural Products Zone, the Exotic and Buffalo Expo showcasing rare animals and Thai agricultural practices, and the New Generation Agricultural Innovation Competition. Other highlights included the Farm Experience Zone, the Agri Plus Awards 2025, a showcase of over 100 outstanding agricultural products selected by the Department of Foreign Trade, and Fruit Day, which offered fresh, high-quality fruit from farmers’ orchards at affordable prices. These initiatives aimed to support marketing channels and directly increase farmers’ incomes.
The public is invited to explore new agricultural opportunities at the BAAC booth at the TOYOTA FARM EXPO 2025, which is being held from September 25-28, 2025, at IMPACT Exhibition Hall 5-9 in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province.
