Sisaket: A brave soldier was discharged after fighting on Phu Makhuea. On October 30, 2015, at the Phu Makhuea Operations Base in Sisaket Province, Lt. Col. Chakkrit Khurirang, commander of the 11th Infantry Battalion, Task Force 1, Suranaree Forces, held a ceremony to discharge front-line soldiers on Phu Makhuea, an area that Thai people are proud to have returned from those who invaded and occupied it.
According to Thai News Agency, Lt. Col. Chakkrit delivered a speech to the discharged soldiers, expressing gratitude on behalf of the commanders and the people. He urged the soldiers to be proud of their past performance, emphasizing their role in maintaining sovereignty and reclaiming territory from the enemy, thus returning it to Thailand.
In his speech, Lt. Col. Chakkrit highlighted the soldiers’ fulfillment of duty with patience and sacrifice, which has brought smiles to the people. He wished them luck in their future lives outside the Royal Thai Army and encouraged them to share their pride and achievements with their families, recognizing them as the most important force in carrying out the mission.
