Ekanit Praises Successful Launch of “Half-Half Plus” Program with 1.5 Billion Baht Circulation

Bangkok: Ekanit is delighted with the “Half-Half Plus” program, which saw 1.5 billion baht in circulation on the first day. He revealed that people who missed out are preparing to wait for Phase 2 after the Prime Minister gave his orders.

According to Thai News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanpraphas commented on the “Kon La Khrueng Plus” program, which launched yesterday, stating that 1.5 billion baht has been in circulation, with 1.6 million people and approximately 600,000 merchants using the program. He thanked everyone for their support and confirmed that merchants can still register until December 19th.

When asked if those who missed out could wait for the “Half-Half Plus” Phase 2 of the “Half-Half Plus” program, Mr. Ekniti replied, “Yes,” as Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Anutin Charnvirakul has already ordered it.
