Flashfloods wash away two villagers in Udon Thani

Flashfloods swept away two villagers in Udon Thani province after heavy downpours lashed the province last night.

Authorities in Sangkhom, Na Yoong and Nam Som districts reported heavy rains last night and the subsequent flashfloods sweeping several villages.

Roads were submerged and bridges were damaged forcing authorities to bring in flat bottom boats and trucks to help stranded villagers at their homes.

Two villagers were washed away by flashfloods.

But only one was located and drowned, while another was a 11-year-old not is still missing.
