Police today escorted four suspects wanted for plotting bomb attack in Bangkok to the Criminal Court for detention request.
The four suspects wanted by security officials for bomb attack plot end of last year are among 17 suspects involved in the bomb plot.
The four turned themselves in to the Crime Suppression Division yesterday to defend their innocence.
The four are identified as Umri Ha, Nuraman Arbu, Muftadin Salae and Tuan Haffit Duemungafa.
The CSD also asked the court not to grant them release on bail as their crimes are serious, carry high penalties, and are threats to national security.
Security officials issued warrants for the arrest of 17 suspects after discovering a plot to bomb Bangkok during October 25-30 last year.
13 had been arrested and four are still at large.
They are wanted for having explosives in possession, and criminal association.
