Germany beats Thailand 3-1 in FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship

Germany handed Thailand its second consecutive defeat in the second round of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in Lodz, Poland, last night (Wednesday) with a 3-1 final score.

 

Canada had also won 3-1 on Tuesday.

 

Germany won the first two sets 25-19 and 25-22 respectively and Thailand took the third set 25-18 before losing in the fourth 23-25.

 

The Thai team will next take on Serbia on Friday and the United States on Saturday.

 

In five previous encounters with Germany since 2016, Thailand managed three wins and two losses.
