Government leads nation in pledging allegiance to the kings of the Chakri dynasty

The prime minister today led the whole nation to join in a massive ceremony to show loyalty together to the kings of the Chakri dynasty.

With the centre of the ceremony is at Government House in Bangkok, and at all state agency offices across the country, Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha led over 4,000 government officials in white uniforms to sing the national anthem at 8.00 am in front of Thai Ku Fah building.

After singing the National Anthem, the prime minister then led government officials, and members of the public across the country in the pledge of allegiance to all the kings of the Chakri dynasty who have reigned the country for over 200 years.

After the pledge of allegiance which was called RuamPalangHaengKwamPhakdi or United Force of Loyalty, the prime minister then led all to sing the Royal Anthem to show their loyalty to the late King BhumibolAdulyadej.

In the provinces, all provincial governors led local government officials in the ceremonies and the pledging of allegiance to the kings.

The same events were also held at all Thai embassies overseas.
