Bangkok: Nat Aniporn, crowned Miss Universe Thailand in 2015, has publicly expressed frustration over a year-long delay in receiving her salary for a photoshoot, amounting to over a million baht. Her comment has drawn immediate attention from Pui TPN, a notable figure in the industry.
According to Thai News Agency, Nat Aniporn shared a post on social media stating, “My daughter went to take a presenter photoshoot. This December it’s been a year. Over a million baht and they still haven’t paid. The initials are shocking. This is a good mother in this industry. I’ve investigated and a big client has already paid since February. Why would I keep the children’s money?” In her post, she expressed disappointment, emphasizing that despite completing her work, she has yet to receive compensation. She urged TPN to manage the situation, indicating her growing impatience and concern over the unpaid dues.
Adding to the controversy, Nat mentioned in her caption, “I don’t ask for much. I’ve finished the work and no one’s even looking after it. Please transfer the money. It’s been a year. Please have TPN handle it for me.” She further vented her frustration in the comments by remarking, “I’m filming real work, not a kangaroo. I’m so tired. I’ve done a lot of homework and a lot of products.”
The issue was further amplified when Namtan Chalita, a close friend of Nat, echoed similar sentiments by commenting, “I’m working and not getting paid.” This public discourse has heightened interest in the matter, pointing to potential systemic issues within the industry.
In a swift response, Pui Piyaporn Saenkosik, known as Pui TPN, addressed the situation, reaching out directly to Nat by saying, “Nong Nat, please call me back. I’d like to ask you something.” This indicates a willingness to engage in dialogue and possibly resolve the payment dispute.
