The military has not yet received information on those who helped former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra to escape from deputy police chief Pol Gen Srivara Ransibrahmanakul, National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) spokesman Col Winthai Suwaree said on Wednesday (Sept 6).
Col Winthai said this in responding to a report quoting Pol Gen Srivara, who is in charge of security-related cases, as saying that he had sent the information to the military.
Pol Gen Srivara said it depended on the military to file a complain against those people.
Col Winthai, who is also army spokesman, said the military has not received such information from Pol Gen Srivara.
Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon also denied receiving information about people allegedly involved in Ms Yingluck's escape because he had not met Pol Gen Srivara in person.
Gen Prawit admitted that security authorities still had no clues about Ms Yingluck's whereabouts.
