Over 500 million baht worth of assets seized from two major Laotian drug traffickers

The Office of Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) has seized more than 500 million baht worth of assets from two major Laotian drug syndicates associated with Xaysana Keopimpha and Seesuk Daohuang, ONCB secretary-general Sirinya Sitthichai disclosed on Tuesday.

He alleged that the two Laotian drug syndicates were linked with Usman Salaemang, a major drug trafficker in three southernmost provinces.

With the cooperation of Laotian narcotic officials, he said that over 200 million baht worth of assets belonging to Seesuk Daohuang drug syndicate have been confiscated.

Last week, ONCB officials and narcotics police seized more than four million methamphetamine pills and 100 kgs of Ice or crystal meth worth several million baht in Chiang Saen district of Chiang Rai together with two suspects being held in custody.
