Chiang Mai: “Thaksin” is confident that “Noi Atsanee” will win the mayoral race, not worried about competitors from other parties, believes that this time there is a high chance of winning. Former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra gave an interview about his readiness to go on stage to help Chiang Mai Mayor candidate Ashni Buranupakorn campaign under the Pheu Thai Party. He said that he thinks Ashni is ready. Judging from his past performance and his consistent visits to the area, he seems to have a high chance of winning.

According to Thai News Agency, when asked about his confidence this time because he has many competitors, Mr. Thaksin said that he thinks that Mr. Ashni himself should be the most prepared.

When asked if he wanted to cajole the people of Chiang Mai into voting for Mr. Ashni, Mr. Thaksin said that he would focus on making Chiang Mai a city that is livable and clean, with incentives for tourists and locals to live happily.

When asked how he assessed the results after the provincial administrative organization field had a score gap of about 20,000 votes from the rival party, Mr. Thaksin said that we must first understand that last time we made a mistake. He won 7 out of 10 MPs. If he had started at that time, he would have been considered at a disadvantage. But today, he thinks it should be okay.

When asked if there was any learning in the urban areas, because most of them belong to the Orange Party, Mr. Thaksin said that he admitted that there were many young people and students in the urban areas, so he had to try to campaign for more understanding.
