Pathum Thani: The People’s Party held its 2025 general assembly, aiming to build political institutions and prepare for elections, presenting economic policies to cope with the global trade war.

According to Thai News Agency, at 09.00 on April 27 at The Idle Hotel and Residence, Pathum Thani Province, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, MP for the party list and leader of the Prachachon Party, gave an interview about the party’s holding of the 1/2568 annual general meeting. He stated that the meeting is part of a network for organizing the annual general meeting, confirming the party’s commitment to establishing a political institution. The gathering included party members, MPs, and executives, focusing on internal administration and preparations for the upcoming election.

When asked about potential changes from previous years, Mr. Nattapong emphasized the party’s consistent dedication to political change through idea campaigns. He highlighted that the party aims to increase engagement with the public, which was a major discussion point. The meeting covered communication strategies and election preparations, particularly regarding economic policies. On April 26, 2025, discussions included lectures on these topics. Additionally, on April 30, 2025, the party plans to present their economic strategies at the Opposition Leaders Forum titled “Re-positioning Thailand: Repositioning the Thai Economy in the Trade War.”
