Bangkok: “Natthaphong” is waiting to hear on 30 April whether the Supreme Court will accept the petition for the “14th Floor Case” or not before assessing how much it will affect the government. He emphasized that the Prime Minister is the one who witnessed all of the illnesses.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Natthaphong Ruangpanyawut, MP for the party list and leader of the Prachachon Party, discussed the upcoming Supreme Court decision set for April 30 regarding Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, former Prime Minister. The case, known as the “14th Floor Case,” has potential political implications. Mr. Natthaphong stated that anyone can file a petition in this case, and the court’s decision is closely monitored.

Mr. Natthaphong confirmed that the discussions in parliament have criticized Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, for her awareness of the facts regarding her father’s health. Questions have been raised about whether Mr. Thaksin was genuinely sick enough to require hospitalization at the Police General Hospital. The focus is on how the Prime Minister will uphold the rule of law and prevent discrimination or double standards. The Prachachon Party has remained active on this issue after the censure debate, accusing the Prime Minister of neglect of duty.

When asked about the potential impact if the court accepts the petition, Mr. Natthaphong noted that there are multiple steps in the process. The outcome and its influence on the government will become clearer after the court’s decision on April 30.
