Bangkok: Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN) has announced plans to invest over 21 billion baht in the development of The Central Phahon Yothin – The Flagship of the Future. The project aims to establish a new landmark in the Lat Phrao-Phahon Yothin area, contributing to the transformation of Bangkok into a world-class metropolis. Construction is projected to conclude by the end of 2026.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chanawat Euwattanasakul, President of Central Pattana Public Company Limited’s Shopping Center Business Group and Project Development Group, highlighted the rapid growth in the Lat Phrao-Phahon Yothin area. The Central Phahon Yothin project, valued at over 21 billion baht, is designed to position the area as Bangkok’s next Central Business District (CBD). Completion is anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Mr. Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Chief Marketing Officer of Central Pattana, emphasized the project’s strategic location on Vibhavadi Rangsit and Phahon Yothin roads, where presently 337,000 vehicles travel daily. The MRT Blue Line and BTS Green Line collectively transport over 50,000 passengers daily. The project anticipates a 30% increase in traffic following its opening. The Central Phahon Yothin is envisioned as a hub for new growth, attracting the wealth segment with significantly higher purchasing power and sales per square meter compared to the average shopping center in Bangkok. The development will cater to diverse activities and demographics, including urban sports, immersive art, and family entertainment, alongside a convention hall capable of hosting world-class events.

Mr. Issara Chirathivat, Head of Leasing – Fashion and Luxury at Central Pattana, remarked on the project’s potential to support flagship stores for both Thai and international brands. The design aims to redefine retail standards in northern Bangkok, presenting The Central Phahon Yothin as a Flagship-Reimagined Destination.
