Phetchaburi:The Lawyers Council of Thailand is now accepting applications for the 28th LAWYER'S CUP football tournament, titled "Phet Sam Wang," to be held in Phetchaburi Province. The tournament, hosted by the Lawyers Council Region 7, is scheduled to take place from January 8-10, 2027, at Chulanont Sports Stadium, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.

According to Thai News Agency, the competition invites teams to participate in two categories Men's Football and Senior Football. The application period is from October 15 to October 31, 2026. Teams must submit their roster and a security deposit of 15,000 baht to Bangkok Bank Account 948-017-9028 under the name "Thai Bar Association (Welfare Fund)."

For the Men's Football Team category, there is no limit on the number of teams that can register. Teams are required to have a roster of 20 to 50 members, and players must possess a lawyer's license or have completed legal training and received approval from the Bar Association. Up to three players who have represented the Lawyers Council of Thailand in Asian and world-level competitions between January 1, 2024, and January 8, 2027, may be included in a team, excluding the goalkeeper.

The Senior Football Team category has specific age-related restrictions. Only one participant aged 50-54 is allowed per team; for the 55-59 and 60-64 age groups, up to four participants can compete. Participants aged 65 and above are limited to one per team, and goalkeepers must be at least 50 years old. The same team size and documentation requirements as the Men's team apply.
