2nd Army Area Command Seizes All Targets Amid Tense Standoff at Prasat Khana

Bangkok: The 2nd Army Area Command has successfully seized all four target areas, including the significant site of “Prasat Khana,” amidst a tense standoff between Thai and Cambodian forces. The upper part of the staircase at the site has been destroyed, with both sides fortifying their positions along the staircase descent.

According to Thai News Agency, the situation at Prasat Khana remains precarious as Cambodian troops continue to retaliate with the use of BM-21 rockets and FPV drones. These aggressive countermeasures have led to an intensified atmosphere at the site, as both nations bolster their military presence.

Thai forces initially took control of the area, only to face a heavy counterattack from Cambodian forces, which included a barrage of gunfire. This forced the 2nd Army Region to temporarily withdraw and adjust its troop deployment. However, they successfully re-entered and regained control over all four targets. At present, both armies are entrenched at the base of the stairs, maintaining a cautious standoff.
