2nd Army Region Secures Strategic Areas and Confiscates Cambodian Military Logbook

Bangkok: The 2nd Army Region has successfully seized a Cambodian notebook containing numerous landmine coordinates, securing the area along the Thai-Cambodian border.

According to Thai News Agency, the 2nd Army Region reported progress in its border operation, capturing strategic areas “Sam Tae” and “Hill 677” in the An Ma Pass area. A significant cache of weapons and important items was confiscated, including a Cambodian military mission logbook. This logbook contained coordinates for landmine and improvised explosive device placement on the Thai side, as well as accompanying maps.

The 2nd Army Area Operations Center further detailed the situation along the Thai-Cambodian border on December 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM. It was stated that the 2nd Army Area had expanded its control, successfully capturing more strategic areas and uncovering critical evidence in the form of the Cambodian military mission logbook.
