Officials also used equipment to deliver oxygen into the tunnel. so that workers have air to breathe and use water pipes to deliver food Initial contact was by means of communication by writing messages on scraps of paper and sending them back and forth. But later rescue workers were able to contact them via radio communication. Officials said Heavy equipment was able to dig 20 meters into the ground, but workers were stuck 40 meters deeper.
Pushkar Singh Thami, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand State who traveled to the scene of the incident today Said through the X platform that The removal of large pieces of dirt and rocks weighing several tonnes is ongoing. In order to get the workers out safely, he said they were now able to contact the workers stuck in the tunnel. which has a length of 4.5 kilometers by radio communication and will try to bring these workers out safely soon.
