5 tigers of Bang Yi Khan Police Station bounced as a sacrifice for the gambling den in Pinklao area

Five police officers of Bang Yi Khan Police Station have been transferred and a fact-finding committee has been set up as a result of the local government raiding an online gambling den inside a famous shopping mall in the Pinklao area. On July 2, reporters reported that the Metropolitan Police Division 7 issued an order number 165-166/2567 and the matter of appointing a fact-finding committee and assigning police officers to perform their duties and act as acting officers. Stating that according to the appearance on social media, on July 2, 2024 at approximately 2:00 p.m., officers from the Department of Provincial Administration, Ministry of Interior, together with officers from Bang Yi Khan Metropolitan Police Station, jointly arrested the offenders with evidence for the offense of jointly gambling (fish tank) without permission in an unknown room near the parking lot of a shopping mall in the Pinklao area, Bang Yi Khan Subdistrict, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok, which is the area of responsibility of Ba ng Yi Khan Metropolitan Police Station. Under the authority of Section 117 of the National Police Act of 2022, a fact-finding committee has been appointed to investigate the matter, consisting of the following persons: 1. Pol. Col. Sitthimeswari Siwakupt Srikruthanon, Deputy Commander of Metropolitan Police Division 7, as Chairman of the Committee; 2. Pol. Col. Chatchai Aim-ong, Superintendent (Investigation), Investigation Group, Metropolitan Police Division 7, as a committee member; 3. Pol. Lt. Col. Panipat Chansuk, Inspector (Investigation), Investigation Group Metropolitan Police Division 1, performing official duties, Investigation Group, Metropolitan Police Division 7, as a committee member 4. Pol. Lt. Col. Kitti Kitprachum, Deputy Superintendent (Investigation), Tha Phra Metropolitan Police Station, committee member 5. Pol. Lt. Pimdao Puangphila, Deputy Inspector (Investigation), Bang Yi Khan Metropolitan Police Station, committee member and secretary In this regard, the investigation committee s hall conduct the fact-finding investigation in accordance with the criteria and methods specified in the regulations of the Police Commission on fact-finding investigation until completed and submit the investigation results for further consideration. Furthermore, if the investigation committee finds that the accused has committed disciplinary offenses other than those specified in this order, or if the investigation involves other police officers, and the investigation committee initially considers that such police officers are involved or have been involved in the action under investigation, the chairman of the committee shall report as soon as possible. Therefore, in order for the fact-finding investigation to proceed smoothly, under the authority of the National Police Act B.E. 2565, Section 67 and Section 105, together with the regulations of the Royal Thai Police Office on ordering police officers to perform duties within the Royal Thai Police Office B.E. 2566, the police officers are hereby assigned to perform duties and act as deputies within the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Police Division 7 as follows: 1.
