67th National Defence College Edges Out SML6 in Thrilling Football Match

Bangkok: 67th National Defence College narrowly defeated the SML6th National Defence College in a thrilling football match, aimed at fostering relationships, held under the Royal Patronage.

According to Thai News Agency, the football match took place at Muang Thong United Stadium, marking the event’s continuation as a tradition for the second consecutive year. The 67th National Defence College team, led by Major General Sadet Akachak, Chief of Staff of the Special Warfare Command, Royal Thai Army, and Rear Admiral Sakraphop Prajaksupanithi, President of the 67th National Defence College Football Club, emerged victorious. They faced off against the SML6 National Defence College team, headed by General Domesak Khamsaisang, Director of the 6th National Defence College Security Management Program, and supported by Mr. Sommart Tantivejkul, President of the SML6 Student Council, Vice Admiral Surasak Pratanvorapanya, President of the SML6 Football Club, and Mr. Thirawit Songwanphan, Secretary of the Club and Coordi
nator.

The match, which concluded with a narrow win of 3-2 in favor of the 67th National Defence College, saw fierce competition throughout the 90 minutes, characterized by alternating attacks and defenses. The atmosphere was described as fun and warm, fostering a sense of unity akin to that of a family gathering. Beyond building relationships, the competition aimed to promote health among the elderly, encouraging them to exercise and build strength while creating valuable connections for societal contributions.
