A Supachai Invests Over 10 Million Baht to Secure Aum Patcharapa for New Drama

Bangkok: A Supachai, the personal manager of A-list actress Aum Patcharapa and a prominent drama producer, is pulling out all the stops to ensure that the superstar stars in his latest production, "Saneh Nang." He's investing over 10 million baht and isn't afraid of potential financial losses. "I'm confident she'll accept. I do everything for her," he stated emphatically, revealing his commitment to the project and his unwavering support for Patcharapa. "If Aum doesn't play the role, I don't know why I'd do it," he added, underscoring the significance of her involvement.

According to Thai News Agency, A Supachai has meticulously prepared for the drama, assembling a star-studded cast that includes Naw Tisanan, Janis Jenista, and Ananda Everingham, marking his debut on Channel 7. The production also features veteran actors like Tuk Duangta and Yui Yatiyoe. The script, crafted by a top-tier writer, aims to captivate audiences with its conciseness and thrilling narrative. The drama incorporates high-quality CG and art direction, especially for scenes involving creatures like spiders and centipedes. Additionally, the drama will highlight the beauty of Thai silk with expertise from Buriram province, aiming to positively impact the local economy.

P'A, the producer, expressed her dedication to revitalizing the Thai television industry, drawing parallels to the thriving entertainment scenes in China and Korea. Her passion for producing stems from a lifelong involvement in television, beginning at the age of four. She observed that actors are increasingly relying on influencers, a trend she hopes to reverse by creating compelling drama that draws viewers away from social media and back to traditional TV.

In response to queries about his booth at the Kasetsart Fair, which was perceived as quiet, A Supachai responded with a smile. While sales weren't as high as the previous six million baht a day, they still ranged between 100,000-200,000 baht daily. With a modest booth rental fee of 20,000 baht, he considered the venture worthwhile, expressing gratitude to supporters. His primary goal at the fair was to discover new talent, akin to past successful finds like Nadech Kugimiya and Weir Sukollawat. He has already identified Vivian, a student from Chulalongkorn University, as a promising new lead.
