Bangkok: Actress Dao Nattapassorn shared the heartwarming story of her engagement with long-time boyfriend Kangsom Thanatat, describing how he proposed during their visit to Shibuya Sky in Japan last December. The couple, who have been together for nine years, are now planning to tie the knot within the year.

According to Thai News Agency, Dao fondly recounted the surprise proposal, explaining that Kangsom had purchased both an engagement ring and a wedding ring ahead of the event. She expressed her delight at wearing the 2-carat diamond ring, which she only removes when showering or sleeping, in accordance with her fianc©'s loving request. The proposal, initially disguised as a content filming session, caught her off guard as Kangsom knelt and asked her to marry him, prompting encouragement from onlookers in Japan.

Dao noted that the proposal was a surprise as they had initially discussed the possibility of an engagement in 2026. However, Kangsom's decision to keep the event intimate and meaningful resonated with her, as they both preferred a quiet affair over a grand gesture. Following the proposal, she expressed a sense of overwhelming joy and shared that Kangsom has become even more attentive and caring.
