Bangkok: Lukmee revealed that it will likely be beneficial for other cases, as the court sentenced “Pu” to 2 years in prison for fraud. “Lukmee” revealed that after the court sentenced “Pu Manthana” to 2 years in prison without probation for fraud, it should be beneficial for other cases with similar circumstances.
According to Thai News Agency, today at the Phra Nakhon Tai District Court on Charoen Krung Road, the case of Aom (pseudonym) suing actress Ms. Manthana, or Pu, on charges of fraud and solicitation of investment in a collagen business was heard. Ms. Rasami Thongsiripraisri, or Lookmee, also attended the hearing.
Afterward, Lukmee gave an interview stating that the court sentenced Ms. Manthana to two years in prison for defrauding her of 1,100,000 baht in collagen product investments. The court ultimately found that the business did not exist, and the victims were not refunded. She also revealed another defamation case against Ms. Manthana. Yesterday, a hearing was held, and the other party used a recording of the “Hon Krasae” program as evidence, which Rasamee viewed as a positive outcome for her case. There was also a defamation case filed by Noom Kanchai, which the court accepted.
Lukmee also said that he understands that the parties involved are likely under stress, as the courts have accepted all cases, whether plaintiff or defendant, even though they are still lower courts and subject to appeal. He emphasized that no one is too big for karma, and he believes that anyone who fabricates stories or lies will eventually be cornered. He congratulated Aom on winning the case.
This is the second case in which Ms. Manthana has lost. Previously, the court ordered her to pay compensation, but to date, she has not received a single baht. Other victims have also faced similar hardship.
Lukmee expressed a belief that Ms. Manthana needs to repent of her actions, or her life will continue to be ruined beyond repair. Regarding the matter of returning the money, the court yesterday wanted to initiate mediation, so Lukmee requested the court to return 2 million baht and that he would immediately withdraw all six lawsuits. Ultimately, however, Ms. Manthana requested to continue the case, even though Lukmee only wanted the money back. He believes Ms. Manthana should be able to repay this sum, given her previous claims of substantial assets.
