Adorable Photos of Bongti, the Asiatic Black Bear, Captivate Tourists

Ratchaburi: Adorable photos have been released of "Bongti," a 6-month-old Asiatic black bear who has become a superstar at the Khao Son Wildlife Breeding Station in Ratchaburi Province. The bear has been attracting a steady stream of visitors eager to catch a glimpse of the young cub.

According to Thai News Agency, Bongti was discovered by villagers in Wang Dong, Kanchanaburi, alone in a sugarcane field. The cub, believed to have been separated from its mother, was found in an emaciated state. Initially nicknamed "Bak Choi," Bongti has been under the care of the Khao San Wildlife Breeding Station since he was just a month old. Now, the healthy young bear enjoys a celebrity status at the station.

Visitors to Khao Son Wildlife Breeding Station can see Bongti on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The cub is still nursing and requires a significant amount of milk.
