Aimee Morakot Visits Flood-Hit School in Chiang Mai to Offer Support

Chiang mai: Actress and former Miss Thailand Universe, Aimee Morakot, recently visited Ban Mae Sa School in the Mae Chaem District, which suffered significant damage due to floods in September. During her visit, she donated funds to help purchase essential supplies and expressed her readiness to support any school in need.

According to Thai News Agency, Aimee Morakot, alongside her friends, took the initiative to assist Ban Mae Sa School by providing financial aid for purchasing teaching materials and other necessities. The school, located four hours from Chiang Mai, faced severe damage to its property and educational equipment due to the flooding. Aimee encouraged others to contribute directly to the school and highlighted the warm reception she received from the community, including teachers, students, and the village headman.

Aimee shared her experience on Instagram, posting a photo with a caption detailing her commitment to assisting the flood-affected school. She emphasized the importance of providing items such as kindergarten mattresses, blankets, shelves, teaching aids, linoleum, and water filters. Aimee ensured that all donations were transferred directly to the school, allowing them to purchase what they needed.

The actress praised the Mae Sa community for their hospitality and noted the unique weaving patterns created by the village, a collaborative effort that includes contributions from the children. Aimee’s visit underscores her commitment to aiding schools in distress and her willingness to extend help whenever necessary.
