According to Thai News Agency, AIS has announced the acquisition of broadcasting rights for the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 and the 5th Asian Para Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026. AIS PLAY will serve as the Official Broadcaster on its OTT Online and IPTV platforms, offering Thai viewers live coverage, highlights, and replays in full HD with Thai commentary. This initiative allows fans to watch the events anytime and anywhere through a single app compatible with all devices, solidifying AIS PLAY's position as a comprehensive sports content hub in Thailand.
Ms. Rungtip Jarusiripipat, Head of Entertainment Business at AIS, emphasized the collaboration with SAT as a bridge for Thai people to access sporting events featuring Thai athletes. She highlighted that acquiring the rights to broadcast these significant games is an important milestone for AIS PLAY, aiming to enhance the sports viewing experience to an international standard.
