Chai nat: Anucha Nakasai, the prospective MP for Chai Nat Constituency 1 from the Pheu Thai Party, has expressed his readiness for a recount, emphasizing the importance of transparency and justice for all parties involved in the recent election.
According to Thai News Agency, a complaint was filed with the Election Commission of Chai Nat Province, District 1, highlighting discrepancies between the election's unofficial results from February 8, 2026. Additionally, concerns were raised following the discovery of a district-based ballot with a stamped seal found by the roadside, which was subsequently handed over to the Election Commission. This incident has fueled suspicions regarding the accuracy of the vote count.
Mr. Anucha stated, "I would be very happy if a recount were to take place in order to bring clarity and fairness to all parties, including myself." His commitment to ensuring a fair electoral process underscores the ongoing efforts to maintain integrity in the electoral system.
