Anusorn Clarifies Medical Council Issue Does Not Impact Government

Bangkok: Mr. Anusorn Eiamsa-ard, a party-list MP from the Pheu Thai Party, has addressed concerns regarding the Medical Council’s decision to penalize three doctors involved in the hospitalization of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. He emphasized that this issue is confined to the Medical Council’s discretion and should not be politicized or used against the current government, as it is unrelated to the country’s administration under Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anusorn clarified that the Medical Council’s proceedings took place before the current government assumed office. He stressed that the incident is a matter of professional conduct, which the Medical Council oversees, and political interference is not warranted. The transparency observed in this case reflects Thailand’s robust governance system, free from government intervention. The Prime Minister remains focused on national duties, actively working on economic, investment, and inequality reduction initiatives, which have been well-received by the public.

Mr. Anusorn further noted that attempts by certain groups to link unrelated issues to the government are detrimental to national interests. He reiterated the government’s commitment to addressing economic challenges and delivering tangible outcomes for the populace. The Prime Minister’s positive disposition and dedication to national service remain steadfast, ensuring continued progress for the country and its citizens.
