Anutin Charnvirakul Addresses Allegations and Rumors Amid Political Speculation

Bangkok:Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul addressed the allegations involving the husband of MP Suchada Sangtanasap, stating that all matters must adhere to the law. He refrained from commenting on rumors of a plot to prevent his ministerial appointment.

According to Thai News Agency, Rangsiman Rome, a party-list MP from the People's Party, alleged that Suchada's husband was involved with scammers. Anutin emphasized that legal processes are underway and must be followed, even if the individual is from the same party.

Anutin stated that party members are citizens who must follow the law. He reiterated that legal procedures will be pursued if laws are broken, and individuals must defend themselves and comply with legal outcomes.

When asked about Suchada's claim of receiving encouragement from the Prime Minister, Anutin said he supports everyone in the party. He did not respond to questions about rumors concerning obstruction of a ministerial position or a possible cabinet reshuffle, choosing instead to laugh off the inquiries.

In a separate context, Anutin discussed his attendance at Newin Chidchob's birthday celebration, noting that it was a customary event featuring local traditions. He described his remarks about being "tired of being Prime Minister" as playful banter.

Addressing criticism from Dr. Supat Hasuwanakit regarding his attire during a hospital visit, Anutin dismissed the critique, questioning the appropriateness of attire expectations for such occasions.
