Anutin Charnvirakul Defends Bhumjaithai Party Amid Ethics Complaint

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, defended the Bhumjaithai Party's conduct in response to an ethics complaint concerning the use of land at Khao Kradong for a party seminar. Anutin, who also serves as the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, firmly stated that the party was in the right, questioning the relevance of the complaint to the party itself.

According to Thai News Agency, the complaint, filed with the Ombudsman, alleges serious ethical violations and disqualifications against Anutin. The dispute centers around a seminar held for Bhumjaithai Party members at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, which is in the Khao Kradong region. Anutin explained that the venue was leased for convenience, asserting, "The Bhumjaithai Party is always in the right."

When asked by reporters about the status of the land as a disputed zone in Khao Kradong, Anutin responded with laughter, indicating his belief that the issue was irrelevant to the Bhumjaithai Party. He reiterated his stance, emphasizing that the party had acted correctly in all its dealings.
