Bangkok: Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, along with his wife, inspected the readiness of the "Silpa Cheep Prateep Thai OTOP: Uniting Hearts with Royal Blessings" event ahead of its official opening on Monday. The event, held from August 8-16 at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, aims to promote Thai products, especially those from the Arts and Crafts Project supported by the Royal Family.

According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister invited the public to visit the fair, emphasizing its focus on high-quality arts and crafts. He was accompanied by key figures such as Minister of Industry Varawut Silpa-archa, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Arsit Sampanrat, and Director-General of the Department of Community Development Siam Sirimongkol. The lively atmosphere saw many attendees eager to support the One Tambon One Product (OTOP) initiative.

During his visit, Anutin toured various stalls, sampling products like fresh coconut ice cream from Phet Ice Cream and purchasing items such as brown rice tea and Lin Lablae durian. His tour included a stop at a tie-dye fabric booth, where he engaged with a Chinese YouTuber live-streaming the event. The Prime Minister's interaction extended to greeting netizens in Chinese and wishing vendors good sales.

The "Thai Helps Thai Plus 60:40" project received praise from vendors, who expressed a desire for its continuation. Anutin acknowledged their feedback, stating he would strive to maintain the initiative. The fair's atmosphere was marked by enthusiastic support from both vendors and attendees, reflecting a strong commitment to promoting and sustaining Thai products on a global stage.
