Anutin Charnvirakul to Present Government’s Policy Statement to Parliament

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul is set to present the government's policy statement to Parliament on April 9-10. This significant event marks the beginning of the new cabinet's legislative agenda following their recent swearing-in ceremony on April 6. The three-day interval allows Parliament members ample time to review the draft policy statement before its formal presentation.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Nan Boonyathida Somchai, spokesperson for the Bhumjaithai Party, revealed that the party's MPs convened to strategize for the upcoming 27th House of Representatives session. During this meeting, they discussed various motions submitted by MPs from different political factions and addressed issues raised by 192 MPs based on their fieldwork and community interactions. The party is committed to tackling these concerns promptly through coordinated efforts between the executive branch and MPs.

Preparations are underway on the parliamentary front, with the Bhumjaithai Party assigning MPs to specific parliamentary duties, focusing on legislative agendas and areas of expertise. Discussions about future standing committees are planned to ensure efficient governance. The party is also focused on equipping new MPs to effectively present their policies and fostering collaboration between the parliamentary and executive branches. Additionally, preparations are in place for the Bhumjaithai Party's anniversary celebration on April 6, marking a significant day in the party's calendar.
