Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, expressed confidence in the Bhumjaithai Party's existing policies, stating there will be no last-minute surprises in their campaign strategy. According to Thai News Agency, Anutin reflected on the positive atmosphere of his campaign trail, expressing satisfaction with the public's response. He reported that everywhere he went, people wished him success. Anutin reiterated that the party's current policies are sound, practical, and beneficial to the public, focusing on stimulating the economy and enhancing societal well-being without causing harm to the country.
When questioned about the possibility of introducing new, impactful policies in the final campaign stages, Anutin maintained that the existing policies are already suitable and credible. He emphasized that there will be no provocative policies that could potentially damage their voter base.
In response to the activities of Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, former leader of the Move Forward Party, who has been actively campaigning for the People's Party and drawing large crowds, Anutin pointed to the Bhumjaithai Party's successful rally in Nong Khai province, which also saw significant attendance. Addressing the People's Party's claims of being able to form a government, Anutin remarked that all parties remain optimistic, as no one campaigns with the intention of becoming the opposition.
