Bangkok: “Anutin” believes there will be no ripple after the Supreme Court scheduled a hearing for “Thaksin”. Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul expressed confidence that there will be no disruption following the Supreme Court’s decision to schedule a hearing for former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Thaksin is currently being treated on the 14th floor of the Police General Hospital. Anutin emphasized that the situation depends on Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra, urging people to remain calm and supportive, without unnecessary worry.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin stated that despite potential political implications, it is crucial to focus on the leadership of the Prime Minister, who heads the core party of the coalition government. He stressed that any statements made by the Prime Minister regarding the situation should be trusted fully.
When questioned about Thaksin’s influence on political direction, Anutin reiterated that the responsibility lies with the Prime Minister. He highlighted the importance of believing in the Prime Minister’s assurances that there is nothing to be concerned about.
Anutin further mentioned that he has consistently provided encouragement to Thaksin, aiming to alleviate any public concern. He expressed his desire for all Thais to work harmoniously and remain motivated for the prosperity of the country.
