Anutin Denies Plans to Push Kla Tham Party to Opposition

Bangkok: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, who also leads the Bhumjaithai Party, has dismissed rumors suggesting that he intends to move the Kla Tham Party into opposition. He firmly denied these claims, shaking his head and stating, "It's not true." Anutin emphasized that any government formation must wait until the election results are clear.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin responded to queries about potential discussions with Captain Thamanat Phromphao, advisor to the Kla Tham Party, regarding government participation. He urged patience, saying, "Please wait for the election results." Anutin also highlighted the necessity of engaging in discussions with various political parties, noting the normalcy of such interactions, as "we have to talk to every party." This statement followed comments from Mr. Pai Lik, the secretary-general of the Kla Tham Party, indicating that Captain Thamanat was preparing for a meeting today.
