Local culture and I am very happy to be a par t of this activity. For the Bun Luang Festival and Phi Ta Khon performance, it is an annual traditional event of the people of Dan Sai District, Loei Province, which will be held after the 15th day of the waxing moon of the 6th month of every year in late June to early July on many streets of Dan Sai District or other places in Loei Province. It is an event with a joyful atmosphere and is very famous in Thailand. This year, the event is organized between 7-9 July. The Phi Ta Khon performance is a long-standing tradition that locals in the area have practiced and passed down from their ancestors. This makes the Phi Ta Khon performance a unique tradition of Loei Province. It is a combination of the Bun Luang or Bun Pha Wet, the Bun Bang Fai, the Bun Sam Ha (averting bad luck in the country), and the Phi Ta Khon performance into one event to worship the city pillar and to honor the sacred spirits.
