Lopburi: Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, has declined to comment on the formula for forming a government, amid strong rumors suggesting that the Kla Tham Party will not be included in the coalition.
According to Thai News Agency, the Bhumjaithai Party is reportedly considering a coalition with the Pheu Thai Party and the Democrat Party while excluding the Kla Tham Party. The exclusion is speculated to be due to Bhumjaithai's desire to control the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, aiming to implement their policies on agricultural stability and address the issue of low agricultural product prices.
Reporters approached Anutin for comments on the current political developments. However, he provided a brief response, stating that he was attending a religious event in Lopburi Province on the day.
In the recent elections held in Lopburi Province, the Bhumjaithai Party secured victories in three out of four constituencies. Mr. Narin Klangpha won in Constituency 1, Ms. Mallika Chiraphanwanich in Constituency 2, and Ms. Kanjanaporn Chiraphanwanich in Constituency 3. The fourth constituency was won by Mr. Worawong Worapanya of the Pheu Thai Party.
