Anutin Seeks Blessings at City Pillar Shrine Before Policy Address

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, visited the City Pillar Shrine in Bangkok at 7:00 AM to seek blessings before heading to Parliament to deliver his policy statement to the National Assembly at 8:30 AM. The City Pillar Shrine, a revered landmark in the city, served as a place for Anutin to pay his respects and seek good fortune.

According to Thai News Agency, the visit was attended by key figures including Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Minister of Defence; General Tharaphong Malakham, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence; and Mr. Arsit Sampanrat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior. After the visit to the shrine, Anutin made his way to Government House where he paid respects to the replica of the Narasimha statue on the second-floor balcony of the Thai Khu Fah building.

Anutin also took time to have breakfast at the canteen by the canal within Government House, opting for a meal of stir-fried beef with basil and Southern Thai yellow curry, accompanied by Thai tea. After his meal, he proceeded to the Parliament building to deliver the government's policy statement.
