Bangkok: Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, emphasized the need for tireless efforts as he looks forward to the upcoming election results. During a celebration of Newin Chidchob’s 67th birthday, Anutin expressed the importance of focusing on excellence over the next four months, which he believes will influence the outcome of the election.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin addressed the gesture made by Newin Chidchob, CEO of Buriram United Football Club, who had Dr. Chang tie a string on Anutin’s wrist, symbolically wishing him another four-year term as Prime Minister. Anutin underscored the need to concentrate on the immediate future, stating, “Let’s get through these four months first.”
Anutin reflected on his current tenure, acknowledging the opportunity to serve as Prime Minister for the next four months. He reiterated his commitment to doing his best during this period and noted that the election results will ultimately determine the continuation of his premiership.
When questioned about Newin’s optimistic blessing for victory in the next election, Anutin quipped about the necessity for political parties to strive for excellence. He stressed that success is not achievable without effort, and parties must work diligently, showcase their accomplishments, and earn public trust.
Commenting on Newin’s assertion that actions should lead to national peace, Anutin remarked on the importance of positive communication among well-wishers. He concluded by extending birthday wishes to Newin, hoping for his long and prosperous life as he celebrates his 67th year.
