Wellington: Anutin Charnvirakul's official visit to New Zealand has resulted in two major corporations, Skyline Enterprises and TandG Global, planning to establish a presence in Thailand. According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Rachada Thanadirek, Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, stated that the Prime Minister's meetings with these New Zealand companies were arranged by Thailand's Board of Investment (BOI) to enhance business opportunities and promote investment and cooperation between the two nations.

During the visit, the Prime Minister emphasized Thailand's potential as an investment base and a gateway to ASEAN markets. He highlighted the strategic benefits of transforming Thailand's existing relationship with New Zealand into economic opportunities that would benefit both countries' citizens and enterprises.

In discussions with Skyline Enterprises, a prominent tourism and travel agency, Anutin invited the company to explore investment opportunities in Thailand. Skyline Enterprises expressed interest in the diverse tourist attractions and the potential to develop family-oriented tourism activities in Thailand.

Similarly, TandG Global, a global agricultural company and owner of the Envy brand, showed interest in using Thailand as a distribution hub to expand its market reach into ASEAN countries and India. Anutin advocated for Thailand as an ideal base due to its logistical advantages and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that facilitate international business expansion.

The Prime Minister proposed utilizing TandG Global's network to boost the market presence of high-quality Thai fruits in Europe, while offering New Zealand access to ASEAN and Indian markets through Thailand.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the visit aims to convert bilateral relations into concrete economic opportunities by inviting investment while opening international market access for Thai products and entrepreneurs. He instructed the BOI to continue discussions with the companies to move from interest to tangible projects, enhancing Thailand's role as a regional business and investment hub.
