Pattaya: "April" Chanoknan Angkurasreni is determined to do her best after securing a spot in the 2026 Honda LPGA Tour in Pattaya, Chonburi, this February. "April," the 21-year-old world number 456 golfer from Saraburi province, earned her place in the prestigious tournament by winning the Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 National Qualifiers.
According to Thai News Agency, Chanoknan expressed her excitement and readiness before competing in the "Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 National Golf Tournament." In an interview at MCOT Public Company Limited, she shared her enthusiasm for the event, highlighting that the Honda LPGA Tour was the first tournament she ever followed and aspired to play in. After four attempts in the qualifying rounds, her perseverance paid off, and she is now eager to perform her best. She also encouraged all Thais to support her and follow the tournament.
The 19th edition of the Honda LPGA Thailand 2026, a world-class women's golf tournament, will take place from February 19-22 at the Siam Country Club Old Course in Pattaya. The event will feature 72 top female golfers competing for a total prize money of approximately 60 million baht. Among the competitors are Thailand's world number one and 2025 Rolex Player of the Year, Papangkorn Dhavadhanakit ("Patty"), the 2024 champion; Ariya Jutanugarn ("May"), the 2021 champion; and Angel Yin, the 2025 champion from the United States.
