The behavior is that Mr. Win, Mr. Tee and Mr. Cho pretended to be close to the Thai victims by claiming that they were wealthy gold traders in Myanmar and wanted to buy gold in Thailand to sell. After that, they tricked the victims into contacting the gold warehouse at a gold shop in Yaowarat area and tricked the victims into putting money as collateral for the gold. They insisted that if the gold warehouse sold the gold, they would return the money that the victims had put as collateral. The victims believed them and transferred 3,135,000 baht. Later, the gold warehouse agreed to sell the gold to the group, but it turned out that Mr. Win and his gang did not have the money to buy the gold and did not return the money that the victims had put as collateral. The victims asked for the money back but could not contact them. Therefore, they believed that the suspects had already left Thailand. The victims therefore filed a complaint with the investigation officer at Phaya Thai Police Station. Later, the investigation officer collected evidence and filed a petition with the Dusit District Court to issue arrest warrants for 3 suspects in this case. However, the police officers believed that the suspects were still in Thailand because there was no record of them traveling abroa d. Therefore, they deployed forces in the area and found Mr. Win. He was sitting and getting a haircut in a shop in that area, so he revealed himself and made the arrest. As for the other two suspects, they have no record of traveling abroad, but it is believed that they have already traveled abroad through natural channels. They are currently being tracked down to bring them to justice. Source: Thai News Agency
