Cyber police arrest two wicked women involved in a foreign stock investment scam, claiming high returns. An elderly male victim was tricked into transferring money more than 25 times, resulting in over 35 million baht in damages. In this case, the victim came to file a complaint with the investigator that she had been deceived by the perpetrators into investing in foreign stocks, claiming that they would give high returns, via the website Hysuncapital.com or an application named 'Hysun.' The victim believed the deception and transferred money to invest 25 times, resulting in a total damage of 35,125,421.98 baht. The investigators then collected evidence and issued arrest warrants for more than 19 individuals. The first suspect reported that around 2023, a senior in the neighborhood invited him to open an account to invest in gold, offering a weekly fee of 1,000-2,000 baht, or depending on the profit. He agreed because he was unemployed and said he would only use the account for 15 days. Later, he went to open a bank account and handed over the account, ATM card, and SIM card linked to the bank to the second suspect, who stated that around 2023, a friend he had known for a long time came to borrow the account to play online gambling (slots), saying that he would pay 1,400 baht per account. Later, he took the arrested person to open a bank account, 1 account, along with an ATM card. By arresting Ms. Waraporn, 32 years old, from Bangkok and Ms. Saranaya, 30 years old, from Bangkok, on charges of 'jointly defrauding the public by impersonating another person, by fraud or deception, jointly importing distorted or forged computer data, whether in whole or in part, or false computer data, in a manner likely to cause damage to the public, and colluding by agreement of two or more persons to commit money laundering and committing money laundering because of the colluding and jointly laundering money.'
