Arrested “Ekki Lom Sak”, a fake model who stole a victim’s bag, found many cases

Metropolitan Police Bureau arrests 'Ekkie Lom Sak', a fake model who tricked victims into going to casting jobs before stealing their bags. It was found that he has a history of theft. Mr. Eakki, aged 43, a suspect with an arrest warrant from the Min Buri Criminal Court dated July 16, 2024, was arrested at a rented house on Sukhumvit Road 48/2, Phra Khanong Subdistrict, Khlong Toei District, Bangkok. During the arrest, Mr. Eakkie stated that he met the victim at the bus stop and had a general conversation. Mr. Eakkie informed him that he worked on a film set and invited the victim to try out for a job. They then exchanged phone numbers. Two days later, Mr. Eakkie made an appointment with the victim to meet at a shopping mall and invited her to get her hair done at Minburi Market before going to a casting. After that, he borrowed the victim's phone to call a friend before taking the victim's bag while she was getting her hair done. Inside was a gold iPad Air 5 worth around 23,000 baht and a white iPhone w orth around 20,000 baht. He then sold it to a Cambodian man whom he met through a friend named Mr. Mae in the Hua Lamphong area for 16,000 baht and used the money for daily expenses.
