Athletics Association of Thailand Outlines Plans for 2026 Competitions

Pathum thani: "Big Pae," the president of the Athletics Association of Thailand, chaired a crucial meeting with coaches and athletes to introduce Coach G and outline strategies for the upcoming 2026 Asian Beach Games and the Asian Games. The meeting, held on March 12, 2026, took place at the Deluxe Meeting Room, Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus, and was attended by key figures including Police Lieutenant General Napantavut Liamsanguan and Mr. Anurak Sengiangjit.

According to Thai News Agency, the meeting aimed to evaluate the progress of the Thai athletics team following their performance in the 2026 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Tianjin, China, and the 18th Asian Athletics Cross Country Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. The gathering also focused on training plans for the forthcoming Asian Beach Games in China and the Asian Games in Japan.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the introduction of Coach G. Gentry Bradley, who joined the Thai national track and field team to enhance the athletes' potential in sprint events. His inclusion is anticipated to elevate the standard of training and improve the team's competitiveness at both Asian and global levels.

Concluding the meeting, the president delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of unity, discipline, and health for achieving success in upcoming international competitions. He encouraged athletes to trust the association's management and work diligently towards bringing honor to Thailand through their performances.
