Sam chuk: Drug suppression units dismantled a drug trafficking network known as "Nong Sadao Thieves," seizing 2 million methamphetamine pills worth over 100 million baht. The pills bore a new symbol, "Banana 999," never before seen in the Region 1 area.
According to Thai News Agency, a drug suppression unit arrested a drug trafficking network known as "Teen Phi Nong Sadao" after they were caught picking up drugs in Nong Sadao Subdistrict, Sam Chuk District, Suphan Buri Province. As three members of the network got out of a vehicle to receive the drugs that had been left at a designated location, police revealed themselves and arrested them. They seized 2 million methamphetamine pills. The arrests took place on the evening of June 10, 2026.
This afternoon, Mr. Chawanin Wongsatitjirakal, Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, along with Pol. Maj. Gen. Surawut Saengrungruang, Commander of the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Police, jointly announced the arrest of the network and the seizure of 2,000,000 methamphetamine pills, which would have a value of at least 100 million baht if they had reached the market.
The three suspects are Ms. Arunrat or "Tle," 38 years old; Mr. Kritsada or "Kob," 23 years old; and Mr. Paveekorn or "Bas," 19 years old.
In addition to the methamphetamine pills, police also seized two mobile phones, one Isuzu vehicle, and two motorcycles.
However, an inspection of the methamphetamine seized from this network revealed that some packages bore the symbol "Banana 999," a trademark of a new production group from the northeastern region. This symbol has never before been found or seized in the jurisdiction of Provincial Police Region 1.
