Pattani: Authorities raided a suspected house in Yarang, seizing 2.45 million smuggled cigarettes, three firearms, and 18.7 million baht in cash. Further investigation is underway to apprehend the network involved. According to Thai News Agency, the Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 Forward Command, in cooperation with relevant agencies, conducted the search at a suspected house in Tambon Krado, Yarang District, Pattani Province.

Mr. Masata, who identified himself as the homeowner, was present along with three other individuals during the raid. The search uncovered approximately 2.4 million illegal cigarettes, three handguns with ammunition, and 18.7 million baht in cash. The seized items have been handed over to Yarang Police Station for legal proceedings.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to track down those involved and dismantle the network responsible for smuggling these untaxed goods.
