BAAC Joins Kickoff of “30 Baht Treatment Everywhere” Initiative

Bangkok: The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) participated in the launch of the “30 Baht Healthcare Everywhere” initiative, which aims to boost the grassroots economy and enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Promkorn Promkhatikaew, Assistant Manager of BAAC, attended the event organized by the National Health Security Office (NHSO). The initiative seeks to provide care for dependents within the community while creating job opportunities for caregivers, thereby increasing their incomes. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin, Minister of Public Health, who also visited an exhibition showcasing models of local administrative organizations focused on improving the quality of life for dependents.

During the event, BAAC co-hosted an exhibition that highlighted financial services and money transfer solutions for those employed to care for dependent individuals, such as homebound and bedridden individuals who require continuous care. The exhibition also included other related works by the NHSO. BAAC executives and staff participated in the event held on August 26, 2015, at the multipurpose area on the 2nd floor of the Ratprasasanaphakdi Building (Building B) in the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, located in the Lak Si District of Bangkok.
