BAAC supports leading farmers

BAAC supports leading farmers in Chumphon Province to reach A-Product standards. Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, Manager of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), along with Mr. Sunan Pongprayoon, Assistant Manager of BAAC, visited the booth and talked with leading farmer customers in Chumphon Province who brought their products to join the booth in the activity of upgrading the Tree Bank to the BAAC Carbon Credit project to turn air into money with BAAC, totaling 5 booths, including Khan Ngern BCG Enterprise Group, a producer of quality mangosteen juice under the brand Mangcha, free of chemicals, with a production process based on the BCG Model concept and introducing innovative technology to promote in order to upgrade the product standards until it can be exported to foreign markets. Sustainable Agriculture Learning Center, Inthanin Organic Farm, an organic standard organic garden, a learning source for organic vegetable, fruit and processed product production from start to finish by prom oting farmers in the community to practice sustainable agriculture. Currently, BAAC has supported the center through the project to develop efficiency of learning centers to develop a sufficient economy with technology and innovation. Tod Mun Pla Jae Jan-Angun, a producer of processed seafood, such as fish cake products with outstanding taste, freshness and A-Product standards and is a 5-star OTOP product at the national level, the same as crispy fried banana products under the name Kluai Hom.. In addition, local products such as tamarind and star gooseberry are valued by processing them into dried star gooseberry, tamarind juice, and tamarind coffee, which can be distributed both domestically and internationally. Lung Kai Coffee, a famous Robusta coffee from Chumphon Province, has passed down secrets from generation to generation under the concept of 'wanting to grow good quality coffee for consumption and passing it on to consumers to drink good quality coffee.' Robusta coffee has been developed from the selection of varieties, organic cultivation, maintenance, to the production process, with quality standards that have earned it the award for the best Thai coffee in 2021, guaranteeing a rich taste and unique aroma, making customers come back to buy more. Lung Kai Coffee has distributed its products to many leading instant coffee entrepreneurs and manufacturers in Thailand and abroad. In addition, Lung Khai Coffee also creates specific brands for those interested in creating a unique identity, such as the Hom Lamun by Khun Chat brand, where the BAAC has provided support to entrepreneurs in terms of capital through various loan programs and promotion of marketing knowledge, quality assurance under the A-Product standard, and opening distribution areas through modern trade channels, distribution centers of government and private agencies, etc., in order to distribute products to consumers and generate more income.
