Phayao: This year's Songkran festival in Phayao turned into a thrilling affair with the presence of global superstar BamBam. Tens of thousands of locals and tourists gathered in the area to partake in water fights and witness BamBam's performance at the "Bubble Wave Phayao Songkran Fest 2026".

According to Thai News Agency, the festival was not just about BamBam. Numerous other famous artists graced the stage, contributing to this vibrant event organized by the Thammanat Phromphao Foundation in partnership with the Phayao Municipality. The festival served as both a gift for the residents and a tourist attraction to celebrate Songkran in Phayao Province.

The festivities continue until April 15th at Phokhun Ngam Muang Square, with performances by renowned national artists each evening, ensuring a lively and entertaining atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the Songkran festival on Khao Kam Road in Kalasin Province is equally energetic. The "Songkran Festival Wow: Khao Kam Maha Sanuk" is enhanced this year by the Kalasin Municipality and its partners. They introduced the "Water Splash" system from S2O events and feature nightly concerts and EDM DJ performances.

The event, running from April 13-15 on Anarghanak Road, includes water fights, concerts, parades, and a variety of street food. The opening ceremony featured "Nong Meen" Kanjana Na Kalasin, Miss Thailand Kalasin 2025, who joined in a dance performance of the viral song "Nobody".
